The earlier (and most) of these paintings are done with India Inks on 140lb cotton rag (watercolor paper), mounted on cradled board, and cold waxed with Renaissance Wax.  Board is sealed with acrylic before mounting to protect from acids.

I mix all my colors from the 3 primaries + black & white.  And I use the inks much like one would watercolors.

More recently, I'm doing the ink paintings (sometimes multiple paintings) as before; but then shooting hi-res RAW photos, and working the art further digitally, resulting in prints.  . . . . I'm exploring with the tools I've become familiar with in creating print options for the earlier paintings.  Also, since prints are the final art pieces, I'm free to experiment with impermanent/fugitive materials and techniques.
